On February 10, 2025, China – At the just-opened 9th Asian Winter Games, the HOWO TH7 8K broadcast vehicle of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Sinotruk”) became a striking sight during the event with its outstanding performance and cutting-edge technology. The broadcast vehicle team, dressed in “China Red”, not only brought an immersive viewing experience to global audiences but also showcased the extraordinary innovation and profound technological strength of “Made in China” to the world.

At this Asian Winter Games, the China National Heavy Duty Truck Group’s HOWO TH7 heavy-duty truck broadcasting fleet undertook the task of live broadcasting the events. These broadcasting vehicles were crafted in a world-class intelligent factory, equipped with a top-tier global supply chain, and have undergone over 2,000,000 kilometers of road tests and extreme climate trials, ensuring their stable performance in harsh conditions. The interior of the broadcasting vehicles is ingeniously designed with a “three-bedroom and one-living room” professional configuration, making them one of the most powerful and flexible outdoor broadcasting vehicles globally. With their outstanding all-terrain adaptability, they maintained smooth operation on icy roads, presenting clear and smooth event coverage to the audience.

As one of the earliest enterprises in China to engage in the research development and manufacturing of heavy-duty trucks, Sinotruk has always been committed to independent innovation and technological leadership. Its predecessor, Jinan Automobile Works, was established in 1958 and successfully trial-produced China’s first heavy-duty truck – the Yellow River JN150 8-ton heavy-duty truck. After decades of development, Sinotruk has become a leader in China’s heavy-duty truck industry, with its products selling well both at home and abroad and exported to over 90 countries around the world.

In recent years, Sinotruk (China National Heavy Duty Truck Group) has achieved remarkable progress in new energy, vehicle networking, and intelligent driving technologies. The company has invested substantial resources in the research and development of key core technologies and new products, continuously enhancing product competitiveness. In the new energy field, Sinotruk has established a comprehensive layout covering pure electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and hybrid power technologies. Significant breakthroughs have been made in reducing energy consumption, extending driving range, and improving the quality of electric drive axles. Leveraging its S+ technology brand, Sinotruk has introduced innovative products equipped with L2+ intelligent driving assistance systems in-vehicle networking and autonomous driving, fully preparing for the digital transformation of the logistics and transportation industries.

The successful completion of the broadcast mission for the Asian Winter Games not only serves as a powerful testament to CNHTC’s technological strength and product quality but also marks a significant enhancement of its brand influence and international standing. By synchronizing its technological capabilities with the world’s passion for winter sports, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group has vividly demonstrated the charm and innovative spirit of Chinese intelligent manufacturing to the global audience.
